CONTINGENT UPON COLLECTION

BASIC RATES

10% on claims collected for $50,001 and above

13% on claims collected for $20,001 to $50,000

15% on claims collected for $10,001 to $20,000

18% on claims collected for $5,001 to $10,000

20% on claims collected for $2,501 to $5,000

25% on claims collected for $1,001 to $2,500

28% on claims collected up to $1,000

RATES WHEN PLACED WITH A LOCAL ATTORNEY

30% contingent if collections made prior to suit

35% contingent if collections made after suit filed

In order to initiate a lawsuit, the local attorney may require court costs and a nominal suit fee in advance. CIS, Inc. will negotiate with attorneys to obtain the best and least expensive arrangment for our clients. CIS, Inc. will instruct the attorney to recover suit fees, court costs, and legal interest in venues where these expenses and awards are recoverable.

RATES ON RETURN OF MERCHANDISE

If an account is settled through the return of merchandise, one-half of the normal rates will apply.
